CHRIST’S (THE ANOINTED)

John 2:1-2 ” 1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
-So the third day there was a marriage; let’s look at this word for day in the Greek it’s (G2250; hemera) Thayer’s Definition: 3) of the last day of this present age, the day Christ will return from heaven, raise the dead, hold the final judgment, and perfect his kingdom. So this third day is the day of the Lord.
2 Peter 3:8 “8 But , beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
- So a thousand years is equal to one day; it has been two thousand and nine years since Jesus walked the earth. 2,000 = 2 Days. So two days have already passed which means we are already in the third day! So that means that there is a marriage taking place. According to Hebrew concept a marriage takes place at consummation. Luke 8:11 “11 Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.” If you look up seed in the Webster’s Dictionary you will find that is states a seed is: The substance, animal or vegetable, which nature prepares for the reproduction and conservation of the species. So since marriage takes place at intercourse when the seed is exchanged, then when the seed or the word of God comes into us we are coming into marriage! So this marriage on the third day (which we are already in) is speaking about a people being impregnated with the word of God.
John 1:1 “1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:14 “14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Galatians 3:16 “16 now to Abraham and His seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one. And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
Galatians 3:29 “29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
- From these scriptures we can clearly see that the Word is God, but the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (Yeshua/Jesus); so the Word is God/Yeshua. Here we see the word seed again, and it says that the seed is Christ; but if we are Christ’s than we are also Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. This word for seed is (G4690;sperma) something sown, that is, seed (including the male sperm) by implication offspring; specifically a remnant. As you can see this speaks of sperm, sperm is a seed that carries the Father’s DNA! So Christ was the seed because He carried God’s DNA, and if we are Christ’s, then we also carry God’s DNA, and we are heirs according to the promise. We become the remnant. One thing we have to realize is that we cannot just read God’s word and think we are “in Christ” I know a lot of people who go to church and read the bible but they still go out to bars, get drunk, fornicate, lie, cheat, and steal. I used to be the same way; a Sunday morning saint and a Monday morning sinner. There is another word for that: lukewarm! In Revelation 3:16 God says that if we are lukewarm He will spew us out of His mouth; meaning we were once in Him but because we are lukewarm we will no longer abide in Him. It is not enough to just read the Word but we must become the Word; who is the Word? Yeshua, we must become like Christ; which is why we are called Christians. The word Christian means to be Christ like, but the reality is that not too many “Christians” are very Christ like!
John 1:12 “12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His name:”
- So we are to become sons of God, now ladies don’t feel left out; this is a spiritual concept. A son is one who is able to produce the seed and build the family name. What makes us a son? Having the Father’s/Gods DNA and being able to reproduce that same DNA in others in order to build the Kingdom of God. It’s the very life of God that dwells within us, the Holy Spirit. This scripture also says to them that believe on His name; this word believe is (G4100;pisteuo) to have faith; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well being to Christ): believer, commit to trust, put in trust with. So believe doesn’t just mean yea Jesus is the Messiah, it means that because I know Jesus as my Lord and Savior I entrust my spiritual well being or my life to Him. Meaning my life is not my own anymore I give it to God because He saved me and I know His plans and purposes for my life are far greater than anything I can think, dream, or imagine.
Matthew 7:21 “21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 16:24 “24 Then said Jesus unto His disciples, if any will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
Mark 14:36 “36 And He said, Abba, Father, all things possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.”
- In Matthew 7:21 Jesus says that not everyone which calls Him Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Wow, so that means that there is a people who think Jesus is their Lord and Savior, a people who “believe” in Jesus but Jesus says that they will not enter into the kingdom of heaven. This is because they have not submitted their lives to Jesus, they say Jesus I love you yet they still do their own will. Jesus is clear when He says that only those that do the will of the Father will enter into the kingdom of heaven. In Matthew 16:24 Jesus says that if anyone will come after Him they must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. What is a cross used for? Crucifixion!
Romans 6:6 “6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
Galatians 2:20 “20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.”
- From these three scripture you can clearly see that we are to also be crucified; this is not a natural crucifixion but a spiritual one. When Jesus told the disciples to pick up their cross and follow Him, He was saying die to your wants, your desires, your lusts, and your will, so that you can do the will of My Father. In Galatians 2:20 Paul says that he is crucified with Christ, now naturally he was still alive but He had crucified his fleshly desires which is what allowed Christ to abide or live in him. He was now doing the will of the Father, and Christ was living in him so he had God’s DNA, He was becoming the very character and nature of the Father. Another thing I want to point out is the place where Jesus was crucified at; Calvary, the word Calvary in the Greek is (G2898;kranion) a skull, cranium. So Jesus was crucified at the skull, the skull speaks of our mindsets, our thoughts, and intents.
Romans 12:2 “2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
- So the perfect will of God is to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. What are we being transformed into? We are being transformed into the image of Christ.
Galatians 5:24 “24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”
Galatians 3:29 “29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
- These scriptures do not say those that are in Christ, it says those that are Christ’s; plural, meaning more than one Christ. These are a people who have crucified themselves to the point that as Paul says “Nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:” So it’s a people that Christ can fully abide in because they have crucified or killed all the sin, lusts, unforgiveness, anger, impatience, hate, pride, vain imaginations etc. Let’s look at the definition of Christ in the Greek, it’s (G5547;Christos) From G5548; anointed, that is, the Messiah. It comes from (G5548;chrio) through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, that is, to consecrate to an office or religious service: anoint. So a Christ is one who is anointed, one that has been consecrated to an office.
Exodus 29:29 “29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons’ after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.”
Numbers 3:3 “3 These the name of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.”
- According to Exodus 29:29 and Numbers 3:3 those that are consecrated are those that are called to minister in the priest’s office. This is the definition of Christ; one who is anointed and has been consecrated to an office or religious service. Let’s take a look at the meaning of the word priest in the ancient Hebrew lexicon bible. By now we should know that the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament was written in Greek. The interesting thing about the Hebrew is that each letter has a pictograph that corresponds to each letter, these pictographs are the original Hebrew text that was written before the letters were formed. So now that we understand that let’s look at the ;kohen) Strongs #3548: AHLB#: 1244-G (g)8453(H definition.
KN)%kN (%kN1244) is a picture of the open palm, thekac: Stand co: Root ab: Sure: The pictograph is a picture of a seed. Combined these mean “opening of a seed”. When the seedn opens the roots begin to form the base of the plant by going down into the soil. The plant rises out of the ground forming the stalk of the plant. A tall tree can only stand tall and firm because of the strong root system which supports it.
This definition of a priest is one who opens the seed, the seed is the word of God; so a priest is one who can open the Word of God. It is a person who understands the parables and proverbs and is able to bring correct understanding of what they mean. Now God is likening His word to a seed, so that means that God’s word has the same function as a seed. We already saw that one form of a seed is the male sperm which carries the Fathers DNA, we get impregnated with His DNA and then we are able to birth out His true nature and character. But the seed that is being talked about in the definition of a priest is one that is planted into the earth to grow trees. The definition says, when the seed opens the roots form. There are two parts of a seed, the outer shell and the inner kernel. Once a seed is planted into the earth (symbolic of us; we are created of the dust of the earth) it has to break open, the outer shell literal has to die so that the kernel that is within it can be watered, sprout roots, grow, and then bear fruit.
2 Kings 19:30 “30 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.”
Revelation 22:16 “16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.”
John 15:5 “5 I am the vine, ye the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
- First thing I want to point out is in 2 Kings 19:30 when it says the “remnant” that is escaped, if you remember the definition for the word seed (G4690;sperma) something sown, that is, seed (including the male sperm) by implication offspring; specifically a remnant. So this remnant is the seed of Abraham, the anointed, the “Christ’s”, and it shall take root downward and bear fruit upward. In Revelation 22:16 Jesus says that He is the root; then in John 15:5 Jesus says that He is the vine and we are the branches. This means that Jesus is our foundation; He is what makes us firm and stand tall. The roots basically drink in water and nourishment and then distribute that nourishment to the rest of the tree in order for the tree to grow. Deuteronomy 32:2 “My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:” So as we begin to drink the word of God, we become firm in knowing who the Lord is, we become firm in our faith, once we come to maturity, we are able to bring forth fruit.
Galatians 5:22-23 “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
- Here you can see the fruit that we are supposed to be bearing: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, faith, meekness, and temperance. These are also characteristics of Yeshua. So when Jesus is the root of our tree, when He is watering us with His word, we are becoming like Him by bearing forth the fruit of the Spirit; the Holy Spirit, His Spirit.
Matthew 7:18 “18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
Matthew 7:19 “19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”
Matthew 12:33 “33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.”
- So if Yeshua is truly the roots of our tree, or the foundation of our walk and faith, then we should be bearing good fruit. But if we are still corrupt then our fruit will be evil, it will bring people into bondage instead of setting them free from bondage. In Matthew 7:19 Yeshua says that a tree that does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire; the lake of fire, hell. Jesus says in Matthew 12:33 that the tree is know by his fruit; what fruits are you bearing?
Matthew 13:23 “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Matthew 13:6 “6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.”
- Here Jesus says that the good ground (the earth; us) are those that hear the word and understand it, and because they not only hear but they understand what they are hearing they bear the fruit. When you read the scriptures literally it is impossible to understand what God is trying to say. Literally, you would think that God was talking about some random trees outside, in which an apple tree bears apples, and an orange tree bears oranges. God is so good though, that He explains to us that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, so together we are the trees. But if Yeshua is not your foundation, you have no roots and you will whither away. So from these scriptures you can see that God uses symbolisms to describe things to us.
Psalms 78:2 “2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:”
Ezekiel 17:2 “2 Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;”
Psalms 49:4 “4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open My dark sayings upon the harp.”
Matthew 13:34 “34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:”
- Here are scriptures from the Old and New Testaments which talk about parables, so there are parables in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. From these scriptures we can see that a parable is a dark saying as well as a riddle. Let’s look at the definition for a riddle in the Hebrew, it’s (H2420;chiydah) From H2330; a puzzle; hence a trick, conundrum, sententious maxim: dark saying, hard question, proverb, riddle. So a riddle is a puzzle;, you have to put pieces together in a puzzle in order to see the whole picture. Now when someone tells you a riddle, there is always an answer to it but it is not always obvious, which is why it is also a hard question. In order to truly understand God’s word we have to have the Holy Spirit which is the teacher and the counselor, and He will lead us into all truth; He will reveal the answer to the parable, the riddle, dark saying, or hard question(proverb) to us when we seek after Him.
Matthew 13:10 “10 And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?”
Matthew 13:11 “11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”
Matthew 13:13 “13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.”
- Jesus only spoke in parable, riddles; and He said the reason the disciples could understand the parables was because it was given to them to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. So the parables are mysteries, but once we understand the parable, once it is revealed to us it is no longer a mystery it is a revelation; something that was once hidden but is now revealed. Also in Matthew 13:13 Jesus says that the people see but see not, and they hear but hear not, neither do they understand. The people did not understand the parables, they didn’t get a revelation of the mystery. If you remember in Matthew 13:23 Jesus said that the good ground are those that understand, what do they have to understand? The parables, the mysteries of the kingdom! When we understand these mysteries or hidden things we begin to understand Jesus, because Jesus is the word He is the parable.
Ephesians 3:3 “3 How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery; as I wrote afore in few words,”
Ephesians 3:4 “4 whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.”
- So the mysteries are made known to us through revelation, according to Ephesians 3:4 we have to understand the mystery of Christ. Christ is the anointed. We are supposed to be like Christ, we are supposed to have the mind of Christ; this can only come about by understanding the mysteries!
Colossians 1:27 “27 To whom God would make known what the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
- What’s the mystery? Christ in us, the hope of glory! Christ in us, which means we are anointed for the same tasks that Christ was anointed for.
Luke 4:18-19 “18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
- So if the Spirit of the Lord is truly upon us, if we are anointed then we should be preaching the gospel, healing the brokenhearted, and setting the captives free. This is why the scripture says “if ye be Christ’s” it is saying if you are anointed, if you are a priest, if you can open up the Word of God. Jesus was called the Christ because He was anointed, because God’s Spirit dwelled within Him. Now it says that Jesus came and preached the gospel, but Jesus only spoke in parables; so this is just confirmation to show that the gospel/bible is a parable. If Christ truly dwells within you then you should be teaching the revelation of these parables.
Romans 16:25 “25 Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,”
1 Timothy 3:16 “16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
- In 1 Timothy 3:16 it says great is the mystery of godliness, but according to Colossians 1:27 the mystery is Christ in us; so that means that true godliness is Christ in us. So if the Holy Spirit dwells within us, the Spirit of Jesus and the Father; that means that we are now the flesh that is here to manifest God! We are justified in the Spirit, because He leads us into all truth, seen of angels, and now we preach to the Gentiles, so the world may believe and then we are received up into glory. Colossians 1:27 says Christ in us, the hope of glory. So because Christ is within us, we are able to manifest the Father’s DNA, the very character and nature of God. We become the anointed, the Christ’s, the sons of God whose only purpose and desire is to do their Father’s will. This is the time we are in, the third day, the day of the marriage, the day of the Lord. This is the day that Christ is coming back; he is coming back in a people. Don’t be like the Jews 2,000 years ago who missed it because they were looking at things in the natural, they were taking God’s word literally instead of symbolically. It’s time to come into marriage with the Lord and give birth to the fruit of His Spirit, to manifest His character and nature to a people who are lost.
Matthew 1:17 “So all the generations from Abraham to David fourteen generations, from Abraham to David fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ fourteen generations.”
-If you go back and read Matthew 1:12-16 and count the generations from Salathiel until Jesus there are only thirteen generations; but Matthew 1:17 said that there was fourteen generations until Christ. Well in the lineage line it says “Jesus who is called Christ”. Now when you read it you can see that Jesus is the thirteenth generation and Christ is the fourteenth generations! This is a people who have accepted the call, died to their will, their wants, and their desires, and have begun to manifest who Jesus or the Christ really is. A people who have fully taken on the mind of Christ!
1 Corinthians 2:16 “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
I pray that you will ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you in a greater way. I pray that if there is any part of this teaching that you don’t understand that you will ask God to open your heart and reveal it to you. I pray that you will become the good ground that hears, understands, matures, and bears fruit. I pray that you will allow the Lord to transform your heart and mind so you can manifest His very character and nature in the earth. Amen.
Bless you,
Melissa
