About Love Worship CenterLove Worship Centre is located in Garissa, North Eastern Province, Kenya. They are a part of the Redeemed Gospel Church denomination, and led by Pastor David Matolo and his wife Rosemary. |
About Pastor David and RosemaryPastor David met Rosemary in 1979 in Nairobi and they were married that same year. It was not until 1984 that they both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. They have lived in Garissa since 1990, and have three children of their own, Susan, Solomon and Peter, and also support about twenty orphans, four of which currently live with them. Pastor David has been preaching since 1985, and was ordained in 2002. He has two certificates and two diplomas in Theology, and has also attended the Toronto Airport Church in Toronto, Canada for leadership training once in 2003 and again in 2006. |
A word from Pastor David“From 1985 I worked in the church leadership as the church secretary and a preacher, until September 1998, when God called me into full-time ministry. I quit my job because I had to obey the voice of God. Before becoming a pastor, I had done many small and big meetings in all the eight provinces of Kenya. I used to sacrifice my own salary to sponsor the meetings. Rosemary and I are the founders of Love Worship Centre, which met for the first time as a church on November 1st 1998. On the first day there were 45 people and 25 children. We have been working hand in hand together with the church leadership, and now our congregation is about 700 people, and we have four associate pastors. As a church, we don’t have any group from anywhere supporting us, as we just depend on God and trust in Him. I thank God for our church members because even when we were evicted from our church building (when the Muslim’s tore it down), they decided to stand with me in all dimensions. We all moved to the open space in the park, where we worship now and the numbers are increasing even there. Many people are coming to see what is happening at the park and they are getting saved. |

Therefore, the only money from your donation that would not reach the recipient, are the Western Union fees themselves.
Also, please note that we have no control over the foreign exchange rate. Your credit card will be billed in US dollars, but the exchange rate into local currency will take place when we transfer the money via Western Union, and the rate will be at the current Western Union exchange rate at the time of transfer.
