THE BRIDE HIDDEN IN THE FEAST OF THE LORD

December 16, 2009

by Wayland Henderson – New Castle, PA, US

Greetings To All In The Name of Our Lord Jesus,

I yearn to express to you a revelation The Lord spoke to my heart and I believe this is a now word for the Bride. When we take a look at the way Jesus taught there are profound things that the scriptures reveal to us. Mark 4:33-34 states that when Jesus spoke to the crowds He only spoke in parables and without a parable He didn’t speak. Yet it also says that He explained all things to His disciples. In Mark, Jesus makes this statement;

Mark 4:11-13
11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to KNOW the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are OUTSIDE, all things come in PARABLES.

With whom was Jesus speaking?
His disciples – his disciplined pupils. To those that were on the outside He spoke only in parables.  Here we have two types of people -  those who are disciples and those who are on the outside. The question remains…outside of what? The word outside in the Greek means to be outside the door! Jesus says in John 10 that I am the door! The word door in that passage of scripture  means, a door or a metaphor or parable! Jesus says to His disciples that it is given to you to KNOW the mystery of the kingdom of God. The word KNOW in the Greek and Hebrew speaks of intimacy or intercourse. It does not mean to have a knowledge of the mystery of God as in head knowledge,  it means to experience the mystery of God as in a place of intimacy and consummation! Those outside the door are those who are not intimate with Jesus and therefore cannot understand His love language(parables). Those who are intimate with the mystery of Kingdom are entering into the beginning stages of the consummation of the Bride because they are having an intercourse of words with the Bridegroom! The word PARABLE means a symbolic language that leads you to a destination or a person….person of Jesus. He is the door and when we become intimate as the Bride we come through that door and begin to find the hidden Jesus or the hidden Bridegroom as told about in Song of Solomon. A careful reading of The Song of Solomon we will find the Bridegroom is hidden and the Shulamite(Bride) is chasing after him. In The Song,  He continually appears and then disappears. The Bride is always in pursuit of him. But an interesting and powerful scripture is given in Song of Solomon 2:10-14;

Song of Solomon 2:10-14
10 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
11 For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, and COME AWAY!

14 “O my dove, in the CLEFTS of the rock, in the SECRET PLACES of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”

Here the Bridegroom is speaking of the rain and the winter passing and the time for flowers or a blossoming on the earth! A time of fruit! Then He tells His dove in the CLEFTS to come forth! He is calling for the bride to come forth in maturity! The phrase COME AWAY is one word in Hebrew and it’s the word WALK.  It means to walk out the message until you become it in the original language! It’s time for the Bride to begin to come out of the secret place and become mature. That can only happen in a place of intimacy. Finally, the most profound things of this passage is the word CLEFT. It means a refuge a hidden place but it shares the same root with the word FEAST in the original Hebrew. Leviticus 23 the Lord says that people of God had to appear before the Lord three times a year to celebrate His Feasts. What we miss is, He says they are His Feasts and they are perpetual. They are not Jewish Feasts.  They are God’s Feasts!  The Feasts were wedding rehearsals that were to point to revelation of the First and Second Coming of Jesus. For example, Jesus is the Passover Lamb.  He is the Unleavened Bread.  He is the Firstfruits of many brethren and He birthed the Church on Pentecost. For 1500 years the Jews celebrated the Feasts, sacrificed lambs and yet when the Lamb of God came many missed Him. Why?  He was hidden in the Feasts!  If CLEFT comes from the word feast and this is where the Bridegroom is calling the Bride out of at the time of fruit ripening, then the Bride is hidden in the feasts as well!   The feast also are referred to as the former and the latter rain. The Feast of Passover and the Feast of Firstfruits spoke of barley harvest and the Feast of Pentecost spoke of the firstfruits of wheat harvest. The Latter rain or Feast of Tabernacles is a fruit harvest! The Bride is hidden in the feast and The Bridegroom is calling us into a deeper level of intimacy to find the revelation of the Bride hidden in the feast! Let us sell all and pursue the lover of our soul with abandonment until we find him. The powerful thing is when we find him we find who we were destined to be! We are a generation that was not just called to be prophets, not just to be apostles, but to BE THE BRIDE! Glory of Christ manifested in the Earth! Paul says that Christ is the glory of God but woman is the glory of man. Christ is our Bridegroom and we are to be the glory of our husband…manifesting His nature in the earth and releasing the kingdom! Don’t settle for less but pursue your lover and His desire to manifest His nature in the earth!  Happy hunting!
