Canaan – The Promised Land
Out of the desert and through the deep water
By faith and My Spirit, in truth will you conquer
Not looking back and with each step ahead
With strength through My word and courage you’ll tread
Out of the desert and onwards to Canaan
This time that befalls you is just for a season
They’ll be times when you’ll doubt what your eyes can’t yet see
But don’t be disuaded, just keep trusting Me
Out of the desert and through the deep water
Remember there’s nothing my Word cannot alter
When the wall seems too high and the water too deep
When the challenge too hard and the mountain too steep
Remember my Word which fashioned the earth
Which created your frame and predestined your birth
Remember there’s nothing that I cannot do
Just trust and obey and I’ll make a way through
Out of the desert and onwards to Canaan
Let steadfast persistance remain your companion
With eyes fixed towards the land filled with bread
Take heart my dear child…
That the best lies ahead
