BECOMING A WITNESS

Blessings to all in the name of our Lord Jesus the Christ! I am extremely excited about the apostolic season we have stepped into and I am looking forward to the increase of Dad’s government upon the shoulders of those whose life has become a death sentence, so the life of Christ can be manifested out of them! The Lord has really been revealing to me what it means to be a witness, and this word has been increasing in my heart not to just release it, but to see all of us step into the demonstration of it. I am just going to share part the message now to bring you up to speed. What I can see in scripture through what the Lord has been showing me is that to be a witness is an apostolic call to demonstrate the very character of God in power and authority. There are a many scriptures that show this but here are a few:
Acts 1:8
8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 4:33
33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
As you can see, the scripture says that they were to be witness’ of the resurrection power of Christ. The powerful truth here is that according to Luke 24:49 the disciples were to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high! When did this happen? Pentecost! The word endued means to sink into clothing which prophetically speaks of sinking into the image of the character of Christ. That is powerful in itself, but what is more important is how does this happen? Paul says in Galatians 3:27 those who are baptized into Christ put on (endued) Christ. Now, see this powerful connection Paul speaks of in Romans.
Romans 6:3
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
This is a powerful revelation here. Baptism speaks of being immersed into the cleansing water of the word but it also speaks of being overwhelmed by calamity! While the word is cleanses us is it also killing us! Baptism brings us to a death so that we can bury our old mindsets and be resurrected in thought and deed. We must take off our garments of flesh and darkness and put on garments of lights. For us to be a witness of His resurrection power, we must die to our limited understanding. Now that I shared that, lets look at the power of what it means to be a witness. The word witness in the Greek is where we get the word martyr from which means to die a violent death or to lose your head (mindsets). This word also means a witness in a legal sense! Hallelujah! It means one who testifies in court of what they SEEN AND HEARD! Wow! Jesus says in Matthew 13 if we had eyes to see and ears to hear the mysteries of the kingdom we would be made whole or come in salvation! When Jesus says in Matthew 13 to the disciples that it has been given to you to KNOW the mysteries of the kingdom the word know is not head knowledge. To know means to have intercourse or to experience the word. Consummation is when a man and a woman come together and the two become one! When we truly have eyes to see and ears to hear we are becoming one with what we see! John says in 1John3:2 when we SEE HIM WE WILL BE LIKE HIM! The Lord also says to Moses that no man can see God and live! When we truly see him in His glory it will kill us so that we can manifest His life and be a true witness…His life manifesting in us and testifying to the world that Jesus is not dead but alive and moving in power in us. Now see this scripture through new eyes…
Revelations 12:11
11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
They overcame by the blood (coming into the likeness of the Lamb) and word of their testimony! Testimony is the witness! They died to self and Satan was casted out of their way of thinking and they began to step into the likeness and image of Christ! The word overcome means one who goes to court and wins the case! The enemy can’t defeat a generation of over-comers because they are manifesting the image of Christ. He overcame so that we could overcome every plan of the enemy, every giant in the land and every religious system that would leave people in bondage instead of setting them free! Now is the time to step into Dad’s power and authority and set people free by the life of Christ manifesting through you and out of you! Shalom.
