by Jimmie Altman – New Castle, PA, USA  Age: 27

Hallelujah! I release blessing and shalom to the members of the body. With great pleasure, I share with you what the LORD has been sharing with me at this time.

I believe that within this apostolic move that is now, and is coming will be a people that will manifest the fruits of the spirit and show fourth the light of the LORD to bring glory to the Father. This apostolic people will manifest the praises of the LORD in word (revelation) and in action (lifestyle of power). God is showing us the true meaning of what the highest praise or Hallelujah is.

The word Hallelujah means Praise the LORD, and it is made up of two words, halel (praise) which means to shine or to give light, and jah (LORD) which means the self existing one. Those two words halel and jah form hallelujah which means to shine, or to give the light of the LORD. That’s why hallelujah is the highest praise because it is manifesting the light of the LORD. Hallelujah is not just something we say, but is what we live by demonstration and by revelation that reveals the light of God in the earth so that those who are in darkness will come to that light! By our words and by our actions we are to manifest the light of the LORD.

John said that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). He said that was the message the early apostles declared, and it will be the same message that the Bride will manifest, “God is light and Him is no darkness.”

Ephesians 5:8-14
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
(NKJ)

One thing I realized in this passage was that manifesting the fruit of the spirit is walking in the light. Jesus told the apostles to let their light shine so that men will see their goodness, good works which is good fruit, and glorify the Father in heaven. Meaning, when we manifest the fruit of the spirit it indicates that we are walking in the light.

The word spirit in this scripture is not the Greek word (pheuma) which is used in Galatians 5:22. This word spirit is the Greek word (phos) which is the word light. Very clear, Paul is saying that the result of walking in the light is in manifesting spiritual fruit: goodness, righteousness, truth, love, joy, peace, self control, kindness, faithfulness, longsuffering, gentleness and every characteristic that is pleasing to the LORD.

Since the Garden, spiritual death and resurrection life has always come by fruit (Proverbs 18:21). The fruit of those who walk in the light will bring life to those who see that light and it its fruit (Proverbs 11:30, Revelations 22:2)

Good fruit is characteristics of God Himself. It is God’s nature and that is why it is acceptable to Him for us to manifest them. Therefore, we cannot say that we have fellowship with Him, the Light, and still walk in darkness. (1 John 1:6 and Galatians 5:19-21)

According to the scriptures, the Father sent Yeshua (Jesus) as a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles (those who are darkness, no illumination) see Luke 2:29-32.

Isaiah 9:1-3
1 Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed, as when at first He lightly esteemed the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward more heavily oppressed her, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, in Galilee of the Gentiles.
2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.
3 You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; they rejoice before You according to the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
(NKJ)

Isaiah 42:6-7
6 “I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
(NKJ)

When Yeshua appeared 2,000 years ago, He gathered men out of darkness, and he sent them as light to bring good fruit and resurrection life to the nations, those would be part of a greater harvest. Notice that as the light comes, which is resurrection life, we come out of prison (bondage to sin) we get eyes to see and ears to hear, we come out of darkness, (ignorance, sin, lack of understanding) and we come in covenant with the LORD.

Isaiah 42:16
16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.
(NKJ)

The word way or (derek) in the Hebrew does not speak of a “way” as in direction, but as in a way of life and moral character. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth and the life, (John 14:6). The light of revelation brings us into the resurrected life of Christ and into good fruit. Resurrection life not only brings us out of darkness but gives us authority over darkness. The light of who Yeshua is causes the crooked place, (areas of perversity, disobedience to the word, areas of the flesh) in our lives to be made straight (righteous, producing good fruit) before the LORD.

That was the ministry of Yeshua, it was the ministry of John the Baptist, (John 5:35) it was the ministry of the apostles, (Matthew 5:14-16) it was the ministry of the apostle Paul (Acts 26:18) and now is the ministry of the apostolic Bride or Zion, (Isaiah 60: 1-6 and 1 Peter 2:9)

Isaiah 60:1-6
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; they shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of the LORD.
(NKJ)

Notice in verse 1, Isaiah says arise and shine. Why shine? Shine because the light has come into you! That is what praise means, to shine because your light has come! When revelation, illumination, good fruit and the resurrected life of Christ appears in us, we are commanded to let that light shine, so that those who are in darkness can be drawn to that light. They will be drawn to the resurrected life of Yeshua! That is giving praise to the LORD, Hallelujah!

2 Peter 2:9
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

We are this royal priesthood, we are the army of lights, the heavenly hosts that will shine fourth the light of God, and manifest good fruit. It is the holy spirit that gives us the ability to be a light that shine to the gentiles, to bring those who sit in darkness to light, to opened up the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf, to bring those who are imprisoned to sin because of lack of revelation, out, to manifest the praises of God!

The LORD wants us all to be part of this apostolic army of lights, but we must arise and wake up to receive that light of His life.

Psalms 115:17-18
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence.
18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!
(NKJ)

Why don’t the dead praise? Those who are spiritually dead cannot praise (let their light shine) because they have no light, they have no fruit, they have no illumination. They have no breath; therefore, the apostle Paul says, and I leave you with this…

Ephesians 5:14
14 … “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
(NKJ)

I pray that the tithe of this word produces the harvest in you! Bless you.
