WALKING IN THE LIGHT

Blessings to all in the name of Jesus. There is powerful and beautiful tapestry of revelation on light and manifestation that The Lord is releasing right now. I know enough from seeing how God speaks that when revelation from others starts flowing into the same vein then we should all stop and really press into the bigger picture. Pastor Mike had released revelation on apostolic order and how the light is what brings the order. Pastor Jimmie just released a revelation on how praise is manifesting the light and life of Jesus. Brother James Bolger also released a powerful word in regards to manifesting presence of Jesus. When revelation begins to flow from different streams we must pay attention to the bigger picture. I believe Jesus is showing us how the apostolic order is to manifest. We must walk in the light of the revelation in order to manifest apostolic authority.
I John 1:1-2
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life–
2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us–
This is such a powerful revelation the Apostle John is bringing here! If you look closely he is speaking of having ears to hear, eyes to see! Jesus says in Matthew 13 we need to have eyes to see and ears to hear the mysteries of the kingdom! John is talking about having an encounter with the Word that brings life which is the mysteries of the kingdom! Why do I say that? Because verse two says that life was manifested. The word manifest means an appearing of revelation or make known by teaching! According to John here that means when true revelation of Jesus comes it’s an appearing or a manifestation of Him. Now if you remember the teaching I just put out on becoming a witness, the only way we can be a witness is if we see Him and die a violent death or in other words become martyrs and lose our heads! The process of revelation is when the word is revealed it brings us into an encounter with the manifest presence of Jesus which brings us to a death of the way we think and we begin to manifest His nature! I John 3:2 says when we see him we will be like Him! Hallelujah! There is so much in this chapter but it just too much to unfold right now but I do want to reveal a pattern here as the chapter continues.
I John 1:5-7
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
The message that is being declared is light! The declaring is not just in words my brothers and sisters it is in thought and deed. We can’t say we are declaring light if we are walking in darkness. First of all darkness speaks of types and shadows so when light comes there is an unveiling of those types and shadows which causes us to walk in light. Now the question is what does it really mean to walk in light? The word walk in Hebrew concept means your lifestyle or your conduct. The word walk and angel (message) come from the same root in Hebrew so it means I am walking out a message until I become the manifestation of that message! Walk also means to die so as we are walking out this message we are going through a death process by dying to carnal mindsets. Here is a profound understanding about the word walk that we must understand in this season. The word kingdom in Hebrew comes from the word walk! That means as we walk out the message we are becoming children of light, but most importantly the kingdom first begins to manifest in our walk! If we have no authority in our lifestyle we can never demonstrate it to the world. The powerful thing The Lord revealed to me is that Jesus didn’t demonstrate the kingdom to his disciples by just miracles, signs and wonders. He demonstrated the kingdom by His walk! The miracles signs and wonders were a result of His walk. Jesus says in Matthew 28 take of my yoke and learn of me! The yoke means teaching and in Hebrew concept it speaking of two ox that are yoked or in covenant together! The older ox (Jesus) who is teaching the younger ox (those who are his disciples) how to plow his field (the heart) by leading him to the mark (right understanding)! When we walk with Jesus we are walking the light of revelation and as we fellowship with Him the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (misunderstanding)!
Ephesians 5:8-10
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
Here Paul says we were once darkness but now we are light. But when he says walk as children of light! Children are those who manifest the likeness of their parents. Pastor Jimmie had mentioned that the word for Spirit here is actually the word the Greek word for light! Fruit is a manifestation or the result of something so that means this can also mean translated like this..The result of walking in the light is in all goodness (functioning as the Lord created us too), righteousness (justified) and truth! When we walk in the light we are being transformed into His image and the result is the kingdom is manifested for others to experience and be brought into fellowship with Jesus. Lastly verse 10 says finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. The phrase finding out is the Greek word dokimazo that means to test and prove meaning after we have been tested and proved by the word we become a manifestation of what is acceptable to the Lord! That can only come through a purified life and demonstration of the nature of Jesus Christ in our walk. An apostolic army is one that has been prepared to be an army of light that demonstrates the kingdom in their lifestyles and there life becomes light that shines in darkness. We are living in dark times but it’s time for an army of light to rise and shine!
Isaiah 60:1-2
1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
