POWERFUL TESTIMONIES

I want to share with you a few powerful testimonies that the LORD has performed in my life. Some of these things have happened within the last two or three months to the past two years. It took me a while to even believe that the LORD was really doing such things in my life; However, I want to share with you what I believe is only the beginning for the release of God’s Glory, not only in my life, but also in the very life of every true believer.
Experience 1: I had suffered from bad knees since the age 12. I can remember some accidents that occurred that caused me to have bad knees. One time I was getting ready to jump in a pool on the side that said no diving. I ran and jumped, but because the edge was flooded with water, instead of my body being thrust forward by my jump, I plummeted straight up in the air and came down with my knees smashing against the edge of the pool. Another time, was when I was running with the kids in the neighborhood. We were all just having fun and chasing each other in the rain. I slipped while running in front of a tree and my body was lifted in the air and again, both of my knees smashed against the tree. My left knee seemed to have more pain and I was told by a doctor that I did not have any cartilage in that knee. The doctor said that the cartilage was deteriorating and that cannot grow back. I went to another doctor and this doctor said, “Who was your last doctor? Tell him He is crazy because you have cartilage in your knee.” I was relieved but I still could not explain why I had so much pain in my knees. The pain would be so bad that I tossed and turned all night not getting sleep at all.
I went to a Church and this Pastor prayed that the healing power of God through the atoning work of the cross will be released into me and heal my knee. I was excited and I thought I was fully healed. The pain was gone for about two weeks and then it came back.
About a month later I went to a bible study in Sharon, PA to a ministry called Forerunner. After hearing a powerful release of the spirit through the word, Prophet Mike, the one who released the word on this particular night, asked if anyone needed prayer. I went up and I told him that I had prayed for two weeks ago for healing to come to my knee. I told him that I believe that I was healed but that the pain was yet there. Prophet Mike began to pray and as the spirit gave utterance, he spoke and said, “Brother, the LORD says you have some things in your life that does not line up with the word of God…the knee is symbolic of submission and your walk with God…so as you allow God to cleanse you of those things then your healing will come.” Then he looked at me and he asked me if I knew what he was talking about; I said yes. I knew exactly what issue it was. Then he proceeded to pray and He said, “I see anger and that you are unforgiving toward your father,” and without hesitation he told me that I needed to forgive my father and be healed of my anger. At this point I knew that this was the word of the LORD released from the man of God. I was 21 years old at the time and I had just met my natural father for the first time in my life about two months prior to coming to this service. I had so much anger and hatred toward my father because all of the stories that I would hear about my father was when he abused my mother.
It was a process of cleansing and allowing God to teach me how to forgive my dad, but He did. Gradually my knee began to heal. The pain began to fade out to the point where I did not have any more pain and could sleep just fine. I cannot even remember the last time I had pain in my knees that caused me to lose sleep. Dad is truly a healer!
Experience 2: I was a freshman at Cheyney University near Philadelphia, PA. I was in my dorm room with Alex, my brother in Christ. He just told me that he had been going to church but did not know his purpose or calling in the LORD. I sat down with him and we talked about becoming a sacrifice to the LORD and allowing our flesh to be burnt before Him. Then I began reading to Alex the definition of the Greek word “seed” from the Vines Concise Dictionary and how its Greek word is where we get our English word sperm. I began teaching Alex Luke 8:11, “The seed is the Word,” and I told him how we needed to be spiritually impregnated with the seed-word of God in our hearts. Alex looked at me and with a determined countenance he says, “I want this, I really want to get this.” I said brother, lets pray. I have to remind you that all of this happened after we came in from outside in the cold. As we prayed, I put my hands on his ears and I prayed for the LORD to give him ears to hear. I paused and opened my eyes in mid-prayer because as I had my hand on his ears, my hands grew hot. I thought that something was happening, but I did not know what so I just kept praying. I then put my hand on his eyes and asked the LORD to give him eyes to see and it happened again, my hands got real hot. By this time, I have my eyes wide opened and praying within my spirit, LORD what is happening. I proceeded to put my hand on his stomach. I gently rested the same hand over the surface of his “jacket” over the stomach area and again, through the jacket I felt my hands get hot. I looked at Alex and I said do you feel that! I said man, you are on fire! He smiled and we both broke out into a radical praise for God. Since that day, I have seen a radical fire in Alex and he knows his purpose and he knows his calling in the LORD! I knew that the heat was a sign of God beginning to burn things out of Alex’s life so that he could see, hear, and understand God and grab his inheritance.
Experience 3: I was awake one late night in my dorm room at Cheyney University, pressing into the word of God. I was getting sleepy so I rested with stomach down on the bed. When I woke up the next morning, I got out of the bed to stretch and as I began to stretch I looked down at my stomach only to see silver dust all over my stomach as the light was shining into my room. I was skeptical so I tried to brush it off, but nothing left me. Then I examined my bed to see if I had fallen asleep in glitter or something, even though I did not have any glitter, but there was not even a speck of residue on my bed. I began praising God because I knew that He was showing me something. I did not know what it was at the time, but I understand now. The stomach is a place of spiritual activity. It is also the place where the spirit of revival begins to flow from and silver is symbolic of redemption and also teaching. I realize now that the LORD was saying that He is beginning to fill my stomach up with revival and a word that will begin to bring redemption, but first it is a process that I have to come through first.
Experience 4: We were at Cheyney University having our weekly bible studies as usual. I was led to teach about the Feast of Passover. So I did and after the message I said to everyone, “Whoever wants to leave you can, but if you want to step into the presence of God, stay here and lets enter in. It was about 10 people in the room. I put some worship music on and we began worshiping and soaking in the LORD. After about 10 minutes my hands got very hot. This wasn’t the same level of heat that I had felt when Alex and I prayed, this was hotter. I didn’t know what was going on but I couldn’t ignore it because my hands were getting hotter. It was then that I heard the LORD say, “Healing.” All I knew was that God wanted to heal so I went to everyone in the room and I released healing over them. I didn’t say it out loud, just very calm and low. As I got to the back and touched a young man who was sitting down, my hands crew cooler. I did not know why my hands got cold, so I stopped touching people and I walked back to the front of the room and continued to pray. My hands grew very hot again, but because I did not understand the things that were taking place, I sat down until my hands were no longer hot. I called Pastor Wayland of FMI and he told me that the word healing in the Greek means “heat.” Then I knew that was why that right after my hands grew hot, the LORD spoke to me and said, “Healing.”
Experience 5: I was on my way to a meeting with an academic advisor at Slippery Rock University about two or three months ago. Before I left my dorm room to head out I went to the bathroom and on my way out I washed my hands, and there is a reason why I mentioned that. When I got down to the place where my meeting was I noticed that another student was in the office speaking with my advisor. So, I sat out in the vestibule and I waited. I just sat there. I was not thinking about anything specific at the time. I was just sitting. I wiped my hands across my face and as my hands were coming to the end of my face I looked and I saw multi-colored dust on my hands. Just as I did when I saw silver on my stomach, I began to wipe and rub my hands together wondering if it would come off. Then I began to think if I had touched anyone. I remembered I came straight down from my room and that before I left I washed my hands. I sat there and I praised God. I thought to myself…”Lord what is getting ready to happen.” I then got up and went into the office with my advisor. We spent about 30 minutes talking about my academics. M advisor began to question me about my wedding and how was it. The conversation led directly into talking about the LORD. I realized that she didn’t believe in the LORD. It was not until I walked out of the room that I realized that the conversation we had was directly in alignment with the multicolored dust that was on my hand. She is an unbeliever but God wants to reveal His nature and His multicolored character to her, or as Paul says, manifold wisdom!
There are many other great things that the LORD has done in my life and I will share later on. One thing that I realized is that many things that God was doing to me and with me, I did not fully understand at that very moment, but I do realize that all through scriptures when the spirit of the LORD came upon men and women, many times they did not know what to do either, but could only hear and be led by they heard and acted as the Holy Spirit spoke to them. As they were being led by the spirit they were also learning how to move, live, operate and be obedient in the spirit! I pray that we would all have encounters with God. I pray that we would not just desire for things as such to occur, but my prayer is that we would come to an understanding of the signs and see the greater things that they point to!
