A MORE EXPANDED VIEW

Picture your life as a movie. Everything you see, everything you experience, everyone you know, and all the events of your life are a movie. Your screen is your sight. Imagine watching a movie that is meant to be in Widescreen on a little ten inch television, and the picture does not adjust to fit your screen. How much of the movie do you think you are missing? What is going on around you? You can hear sounds, but there is no visualization. Think about how much you are missing of the movie of your life? Picture yourself constantly walking around just like that. How would you feel? This was the story of my life until Saturday.
I am being healed from a condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa (or RP as it is commonly called). I have had it since birth. Part of this caused me not to have any peripheral vision at all, which for some can make it very difficult to cope with day to day tasks, but if you have never had it you are always used to working without it. I had been trained, and self trained to use my other senses to substitute for what was lacking, but as hard as I tried, and as much as I trained, it all came to no effect. It was critical to see what wasn’t being seen. I needed the vision.
Saturday night after the meeting had concluded I was doing my usual rounds (looking to see if Prophet Mike or Prophet Way required catchers, shutting off heaters, preparing to lock up) and I stepped in to catch for Prophet Mike. After I had finished I was asked if I wanted prayer, and I tried to reply I was just there to catch, as I didn’t want to be a burden. Before I finished my sentence I was being prayed for, and I am glad I took it now. The more he prayed for me, the more my vision expanded. I went from having a ten inch screen, to a twenty inch screen, to widescreen for the first time in my life. It was an incredible feeling. I just kept starring straight and noticing everything around me. I could finally see the whole picture!!!
To me this is a major step in what I know God is doing in my life both naturally and spiritually. I know that just as He has expanded my natural vision, that he has expanded my spiritual vision as well. Everything in the natural is a pattern of things in the realm of the spirit and I am very excited to see what Dad will do now. Stay tuned because it is FAR from over. Bless you.
