AMAZING CHANGE

One Sunday early the Lord put the word love in my spirit. So I knew He would be leading me in that area. As I read the Word later in the morning my mind was arrested by 1 John 3:17 —bowels of compassion— relating to helping someone in need. Compassion, I saw I did not have! Why “bowels”? That is the area along with the liver and kidneys of our emotions. My bowels had been shut up since age six when my dad molested me. Inner reaction caused constipation most of my life. My doctor said “No white bread”, but that never really helped!
The revelation that this was the source of my physical and emotional blockage led me to repent, forgive and release. I truly thanked Yeshua for being healed.
In the afternoon I drove to a fellowship where we worship, study the Word and then have supper together. One family came with their year old daughter Vera, who had a hole in her heart and they were heading for tests in Ottawa the next day. I know the grandmother, Joan, who asked me if I saw the terrible eczema sores on the young mother’s (Rita’s) arms and hands… I saw the sores, but when I looked at her, she also looked ’strange’ to me (I don’t know how else to describe it). When I went over to Rita, she said she knew I had a word for her. I don’t know what I said, but the moment I put my arm around her and started talking to her, Father God filled me with such love for her that I actually saw her face change (she no longer looked ’strange’ to me anymore)! She melted and I rejoiced! I was studying Pastor Jimmie’s School of the Prophet class on the Love of God at the time.
