DESCRIPTION: In our day-to-day lives, we continually rely on God as our provision. We have situations that only He knows about and can care effectively for. These situations have most likely become mindsets that hinder our going forth in the LORD. These things are what the children of Israel struggled with as they made their exodus out of Egyptian strongholds. When the LORD took Israel out of Egypt He brought them to the wilderness for a season of preparation to possess fully their inheritance. As the preparation and pruning of their hearts and mindsets begin to be released, they became rebellious to God's method of freedom. Therefore, a whole generation of people, stubborn and stiff-necked, refused to look to the LORD and He had to bring up a people that would follow Him with all their heart and soul. This younger generation had not experienced Egypt, they were disconnected from the mindsets that their forefathers had been plagued with which allowed them to only know the goodness of God. They were not a complaining people but a people that could rejoice and see clearly, what God was doing in the earth. The Father needed a people sold out for Him, just as He requires a people such as that today. The giants, the ""ites"" in the land of Canaan are symbolic of mindsets that God wants out of His people. So, how could God use the stiff-necked generation from Egypt to defeat that which they could not defeat in themselves. That is the reason why the people of God are required to become overcomers, so that we can possess the land that He has promised us. We are the land and He wants us free of every limitation and all bondages. Apostle Michael Petro supplies the blueprint to unlock and unfold the method of overcoming in this teaching the "Promise Land and the Mysteries." |
