| DESCRIPTION: It is important to have a correct understanding of grace. Grace is not a license for immorality. It is taught that grace means we can just live however we want and we can live in sin and there will be no consequence. In this teaching, you will find that this type of grace is indeed deception. Too many are teaching what people want to hear and not what God wants them to know. Grace is God's provision and God's provision is His word. God told Noah to build an ark. Noah built the ark because He trusted God's instructions. Noah and his family were saved because Noah listened to God. We have to be open to God's will which is seen throughout His word. If we close ourselves to instruction and chastisement we will miss what God wants to do in our lives. We have to have eyes to see and ears to hear who God really is and what He is trying to say to us through His word. God wants us to be obedient children. But we can't obey Him if we don't know what He's truly saying. It says ""My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."" God speaks His word through messengers. These messengers restore and transform. They prepare the way. They make the way straight. They tell us to get the garbage out of our lives. God wants to restore us back to the state of Adam before the fall. Adam was created in God's image. He wants to purify us. Don't think that one minute you can be carnal, live however you want and think the next you will receive your glorified body. God wants to transform us now so we can be presentable before Him. He wants us to carry His DNA; His characteristics. It is important that we search God out ourselves so we are not being led in the wrong direction. A lot of Shepards are leading God's sheep into an eternity that will be spent in a place God isn't! |
